Cloud computing and AI are converging into a single strategic decision, not two. Enterprises can no longer pick a provider on storage pricing alone; GPU availability, inference latency, and model-hosting flexibility now matter just as much.
This is reshaping data centers. Providers are racing to deploy denser, liquid-cooled GPU clusters while pushing inference closer to users through edge nodes, cutting latency and the cost of constant trips back to centralized servers.
It is also changing how organizations weigh risk. AI workloads concentrate enormous value in model weights and training data, making cloud security a direct input into AI strategy rather than an afterthought.
